A beautiful handwoven Bessarabian carpet, traditionally crafted in wool on a cotton foundation, dating to approximately the 1970s–1980s.

The rug showcases a rich, abundant floral design, with a spectacular central bouquet surrounded by stylized botanical motifs, scrolling foliage and an elaborate ornamental border. Its bold and vibrant palette of fuchsia, burgundy, pink, turquoise, petrol blue, green, cream, orange and golden yellow creates a striking contrast against the dark background.
The colors are exceptionally vivid and remarkably well preserved, giving this piece an impressive decorative presence. It is in very good vintage condition, with minor signs of age and small areas of wool thinning.
