Antique authentic Romanian rug, very rare, made on the beginning of the 20th century. 
 Large size,  handmade in wool black background with a majestic peacock and beautiful floral design. It is a very rare find, very old but in a fair shape considering the age, with few marks, the biggest ones were repaired, but those signs of the time give  it even more charm and beauty.

This rug is found in Moldova, East Romania. It was used to decorate the wall as it was the tradition back then. It can be used with the same purpose or as a rug to cover the floor. 
It is a trully treasure, very old and beautiful, for those who love and appreciate the antiques.
