Vintage authentic Romanian rug, exquisite floral design, made on the mid of the 20th century.Large size, handmade in wool black background with beautiful floral decor.
It was used as wall tapestry (in the traditional way  in the old Romanian houses, years ago) and this is why on one face the colours are a bit shaded, and on the other the colours are very bright, like new. The pictures are taken on the bright side, as we recommend it, but if you’d like a more vintage look, the other side is more suitable. Also it still has the band for hanging on the wall, but it can be easily removed, we can remove it on your request. There are few signs of the time, small pinches and little repaires, but no significant damage.  Considering the age, we can say that it is in a very good shape.
